Engineer Degree Internships

Stage niveau Bac+5 (Internship - baccalaureate or equivalent + 5 years of higher education) - 3rd year: The end-of-study work (TFE) 
 

 

This end-of-study internship at the end of the course is a substantial immersion internship, lasting 4 to 6 months, in the professional world. It involves personal and in-depth work, focused on solving a given problem. Its educational objectives can be broken down into 5 major points:
•    performance in a professional situation
•    advanced study of a theme
•    the development of a personal approach
•    project management
•    the development prospects of the work carried out 

Stage niveau Bac+4 (Internship - baccalaureate or equivalent +4 years of higher education) - 2nd year: “Engineering practice” internship (SPI

 

This internship takes place in the 2nd year and is part of the progression of the degree course as well as these general objectives, halfway between a job discovery and a long-term professional immersion approach.


Objectives and targeted skills:
•    to test and validate the theoretical knowledge acquired in the fields of engineering sciences 
•    to carry out an engineering activity, using engineering techniques and skills 
•    to develop a personal reflection on sustainable development 
•    to integrate into a work team and participate in the implementation of a project

Stages niveau Bac+3 (Internship - baccalaureate or equivalent +3 years of higher education) - 1st year: Internships - Work Placement and Job Discovery

 

The first-year internships are two short internships:
•    The job discovery course (one week in December of 1st year) allows you to discover the jobs and missions of an engineer, in water and environmental management, in companies, government departments, local authorities, etc.
•    The work placement (1 month in July of the 1st year) allows you to discover the realities of a work site in France or abroad;

Professional Bachelor's degree internship

Professional Bachelor's degree in Protection of the Environment specialisation “Management of Urban and Rural Water”
Technician Internship - baccalaureate or equivalent +3 years of higher education: End-of-study work

The internship covers a period of 4 months, from April to August, which makes it attractive for employers.
It takes place in a design office, in a goods and/or service company, in a local authority and more rarely in a public institution or administration...

Internships - Specialised Master's - baccalaureate or equivalent +5 years of higher education

 

Specialised Masters EPA (Drinking Water and Sanitation)

An extensive internship in a company lasting 6 months, which runs from 1 May to 30 October.
The work placement (6 months-800 hours) is an integral part of the training. It takes place in a host structure chosen by the student in agreement with the ENGEES. It culminates in the writing of the final dissertation in line with the trainee's tasks (and possibly his or her professional project) and an oral defence before a selection board.


Specialised Masters GEDE (Management, Treatment and Recovery of Waste) 


An extensive internship in a company lasting 6 months, which runs from 1 April to 30 September. The work placement (6 months-800 hours) is an integral part of the training. It takes place in a host structure chosen by the student in agreement with the ENGEES or Les Mines de Nancy according to the option. It culminates in the writing of the final dissertation in line with the trainee's tasks (and possibly his or her professional project) and an oral defence before a selection board.


Specialised Masters GeBAC(Water Supply Catchment Manager)


An extensive internship in a company lasting 6 months, which runs from 1 April to 30 September. The work placement (6 months-800 hours) is an integral part of the training. It takes place in a host structure chosen by the student in agreement with the ENGEES. It culminates in the writing of the final dissertation in line with the trainee's tasks (and possibly his or her professional project) and an oral defence before a selection board.
