Management, treatment and rehabilitation of waste (GEDE)
This course, run jointly with the Certificate of Higher Education in “Waste Management” enables students to complete an in-depth technical specialization in any sector of the field through gaining knowledge and expertise in different branches. Two options are offered at the end ofthe core curriculum: “urban waste” and “industrial waste”.
THE AIMS
The main aim is to enable engineers and graduates to acquire a multi-discipline technical specializationin the field of waste management. The course also includes a managerial element.
VARIED PROFESSIONAL PROSPECTS
This type of course benefits from an expanding market and can lead to different types of positions:
- environmental manager in acompany or local authority
- business development manager
- head of operations in an urban or industrial waste treatment plant
- project manager
- engineer or head of service in local authorities or service companies, etc.
