Since 2009, ENGEES has been offering an engineering programme featuring an apprenticeship, alternating between periods at school and periods in a company, which may be outside of France, such as in Baden-Württemberg, Germany. The company recruits the apprentice but may receive French public aid. 

Regular interaction takes place between the school and the company throughout the 3 years of the programme, in order to ensure that the apprentices acquire the skills relevant to their position in the company.
