How to apply?

Registrations from Friday 16 December 2022 to Friday 31 March 2023 (inclusive)

Instructions to use ecandidat to be read beforehand

Details of the supporting documents you will be asked to provide:

  • a copy of your identity card
  • a detailed CV
  • a covering letter
  • a photograph
  • copy of baccalaureate diploma (A-levels equivalent) and transcript of marks

Depending on whether you are:

Student in HND (BTS), technology degree (DUT-BUT) or in 2nd or 3rd year of degree (L2-L3):

Your transcripts from the last two years of post-baccalaureate education leading to the diploma qualifying you for admission, with teachers' assessments

A view of further study and/or reference letter

IMPORTANT: for foreign diplomas: a certificate of equivalence of the diploma must be presented in the event of admission. You should start taking steps now to obtain this document from: https://www.france-education-international.fr/en/hub/reconnaissance-de-diplomes

Foreign applicants studying outside France must register both online on the ENGEES website and with Campus France.

 

Employees and freelancers with at least a baccalaureate and at least five years' professional experience, for whom validation of prior learning may be considered at senior technician level:

All the information needed to assess the applicant's professional qualities (technical skills, levels of responsibility, etc.) and personal qualities (assessments by the hierarchical superior, etc.) must be explained and appended to the cover letter.

For jobseekers: a recent certificate of registration with ASSEDIC. Residents abroad should have this certificate issued by the relevant administrative authority.

The deadline for registration at ENGEES for the 2023-2024 academic year is Friday 31 March 2023.

The admissions committee will meet once on Thursday 8 June 2023. The main admissions list and the complementary list will be published on our website on Friday 9 June 2023. 

Candidates on the complementary list will be contacted according to their rank as withdrawals progress until the start of the academic year.

For those admitted: 

The administrative formalities for those admitted will be carried out by the schooling service Faculty of Geography at the University of Strasbourg at the beginning of September (registration, payment of school fees, presentation of the diploma acquired (BAC+2)). The practical arrangements for this registration phase will be communicated to ENGEES on the first day of term.

Tuition fees

Students enrolled in a professional degree must pay tuition fees and the CVEC. The amounts can be consulted on the University of Strasbourg management website. All administrative registration formalities must be carried out with the Faculty of Geography after the start of the academic year. 

Students on social grants are not charged this fee.
